Project
Process
After
you create your project
Programmers
will bid on your project.
Programmers
create their bids based on your project description
so try to make your project description as complete
as possible. We allow you to upload a document with
your project so you can prepare a document ahead of
time and attach it to your project.
This
is the basic process of taking your project through
completion.
- Prepare Your Project Description
- Post your project
- Communicate with
Programmers
during the bidding
- Choose a winning bid
- Communicate with the winning
Programmer
- Optional move funds into an escrow
account
- Complete Project
- Send Payment
- Leave Feedback
Prepare
Your Project Description
The more preparation you do the more successful your
project will be. Take the time to prepare a project
description document to use as your project description.
You can either paste the description into the project
creation form or attach it as a file.
Post your project
Post your project including your description. This
is simply a matter of filling out the project form.
Once your project has been posted
Programmers
with the appropriate experience will be notified and
they will start bidding on your project.
Communicate
with
Programmers
during the bidding
During the bidding process you are able to communicate
with
Programmers
as they prepare bids for your project. There is a
message board associated with every project to help
facilitate this communication.
Programmers
may ask for additional information. In addition to
the message board you are able to add information
about your project. If one
Programmer
asks a question that inspires you to create a more
detailed description use the Edit
Option to post that information as it will be
available to all
Programmers
who review your project.
Choose a winning bid
Once you've decided who would be best suited to complete
your project you select a winning
bid. Remember it's not always the lowest bidder
that will be the best value. First look at the
Programmer's related experience. Someone who has the right experience
will most likely deliver a better result than someone
with limited experience. Also look at their ratings
as well as the comments on previous projects.
Communicate with the winning
Programmer
This is a vital part of the process. Communicate with
the
Programmer
throughout the process. They may have questions along
the way. Answer questions quickly and completely.
This will help insure a good rating from
Programmers
. The top
Programmers
look for a Webmaster with a good rating because it's
to their benefit to work on projects that are well
defined.
Complete the project
Once you receive the project from the
Programmer
your project is complete. Review the project before
sending final payment.
Send Payment
Once you have reviewed the project you then send your
agreed payment amount to the
Programmer
. You may use our services to send payment to a
Programmer
or you may choose to pay the
Programmer
directly.
Leave Feedback
Make sure you leave feedback about the
Programmers. Remember how important this information was to you
when choosing a
Programmer
. By always leaving feedback it ensures the
Programmers
do their best work, and
Programmers
who do good work will have an advantage over those
who don't.
